components required for our UNISIG deep hole drilling
machines, complex automation and specialized applications.
Our machine shop is critical to our success, and we
encourage a strong working relationship between machinists,
technicians and engineers to build the best possible end
products.
Components range from intricate robot
grippers weighing a few ounces to massive machine columns
weighing 25 tons. Our toolmakers work together with CNC
machinists to cost effectively produce single part
requirements and small lot sizes.
Machinists at Entrust must plan their
own setups, select tooling, program the job, run the machine
and inspect the finished parts. As an added benefit, they
will see their parts assembled with other precision
components required to build high performance machine tools.

CNC MACHINIST - HORIZONTAL BORING MILL

Entrust has multiple openings in our CNC department for experienced machinists to produce a variety of high
precision components required for machine tools and automation products. The successful candidate
will run the following equipment currently in our horizontal machining department:
- Toshiba BF-130 floor-type horizontal boring mill
General Requirements
- Extensive experience with the setup and
operation of 50 taper machine tools in a job shop
- High productivity through the use of good planning and technology
- Attention to detail and a desire to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Flexibility - willingness to operate other equipment, perform work outside job
duties when asked, and work overtime hours when required
Job Requirements
- Plan setups from detailed manufacturing drawings
- Select tooling based on materials and tolerances
- CNC part programming (FANUC and others) for rough and finish machining
- MasterCam use to develop tool paths and part programs from 3D CAD geometry
- Operate machines to produce high precision, low volume parts
- Inspection of work
- Communication with others in department to coordinate downstream operations of specialized parts
- Safe part handling using overhead cranes
- Stay current with manufacturing technologies available to improve productivity (tooling, workholding, programming, workflows, etc.)

CNC MACHINIST - VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

Entrust has an opening in our CNC department for a CNC machinist to produce a variety of
high precision components required for our machine tools and automation products.
Qualified individuals will be provided training to assist in refining skills already
present as well as learning additional skills.
General Requirements
- Technical School degree in machine tool operation or tool and die making
or completion of apprenticeship training program in machine tool operation or tool and die making
- Knowledge pertaining to the setup and operation of CNC vertical machining centers in a job shop
- High productivity through the use of good planning and technology
- Attention to detail and a desire to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Flexibility - willingness to operate other equipment, perform work outside
job duties when asked and work overtime hours when required
- Applicant should be mechanically inclined, have good problem solving abilities, be able to work
independently and possess the ability to do highly accurate work that requires concentration
and physical effort
- Qualified individuals will be considered for training. Education/tuition reimbursement is provided.
Job Requirements
- Ability to effectively set-up, operate and maintain tool room equipment and machines
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Ability to use gages, calipers and micrometers for mechanical inspection
- Shop math skills
- Ability to select proper tooling
- Ability to calculate proper SFM and feed
- Work to very close tolerances
- Working knowledge of "G" codes
- Familiarity with Master Cam or other CAM system a plus
- Possess own tools
- Journeymen/Toolmakers encouraged to apply
